So, am I doing something wrong? Is this just a glitch in the program? I'm really afraid that I'm going to lose the User Defined settings and have to start all over again, I'd much rather use a pre-set definition. This is another DIY free Microsoft Word envelope template from All Free Printable. This Chinese New Year lucky red envelope is beautifully designed. Oddly enough the Sender label ended up in the right place without having to adjust anything. It includes more than 40 Microsoft Word envelope templates, that are free to download. I've tried changing the printer from portrait to landscape but this did no good. This is a re-write of my problem trying to create a new printer based envelope template that should be picked up by LibreOffice (see below for versions, etc.) The problem is as follows. I've tried adjusting the Format positions for Addressee and Sender but I can't get the Sender address near the top of the envelope and the Addressee never gets above the middle line. The resulting envelop has the return address about 1/2" too far to the right and half way down the envelope near the middle. I've also tried #9.ĥ.Click on Printer tab - select the one with the envelope in center. Click Format tab - select #10 Envelope from drop down (my envelops are 9.5"x4"). Enter names, etc in Addressee and Sender fieldsĤ. I can't seem to get the envelopes to print correctly using the Insert Envelope function in Writer.
